Puerto Morelos is a small fishing village located on the beach, halfway between Cancun and Playa del Carmen, just 20 minutes south of the Cancun airport.
Our Beachfront condo in Villas Playasol is 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, with a small balcony and views of the ocean. We have a fully equipped kitchen, washer-dryer, AC, cable TV and wireless internet. We also have a bilingual on-site manager. No need for a car -- it's just a five minute walk to the lively town square for a variety of excellent restaurants, shopping and people watching. Restaurants range from the elegant John Gray's to Italian to local Yucatecan. You can also buy fresh fish at fishermen's co-op, and cook it at the condo or barbecue under the palapa.
Puerto Morelos is located on the Meso-American reef - the second longest barrier 
reef in the world. The reef lies just 500 yards off shore, keeping the water shallow, calm and safe for swimming. The reef here is a National Park and has spectacular snorkeling directly off the beach and extensive scuba diving opportunities as well.

There are also family oriented Eco-parks such as Xcaret and Xel-ha, Cancun shopping and nightlife are an easy and inexpensive bus ride away. Car rentals are available as well.
